Giovanna’s communion day photoshoot
Sarah & Patrick’s summer wedding | Co. Meath
This lovely couple were married in Kilmessan Co. Meath and the reception was in the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan. Sarah & Patrick are both from the same village so it was an easy decision to choose the location! As a photographer/guest/cousin of the groom I was extra excited to shoot this wedding, it was also fun knowing 90% of the wedding guests! This wedding was so relaxed with a real emphasis on family, friends, and having a great time. Here are some images from the day.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer or getting married I would love to hear your plans. Contact me here for available dates.

Newborn lifestyle photography - A little peek at some of Harry’s newborn gallery!
Here are some shots from Odhrán’s holy communion (there were so many it was difficult to only chose a few) We had so much fun capturing these images. Odhrán & is family were wonderful. I enjoying creating relaxed and natural images that truly reflect a family & create memories that they can treasure forever.
Maria and Niall celebrated their wedding in Castlemahon Village and Adare Co. Limerick. Maria and Niall are the most easy-going people you’d meet and it is clear that they are very much in love. The bride and groom really wanted a relaxed approach to their wedding photography. The atmosphere for the whole day was lovely & relaxed with lots of smiles & laughter. They celebrated with their closest friends and family in the Fitzgerald’s Woodlands Hotel Adare. It was an absolute pleasure to document their wonderful wedding day.
I love seeing families grow! This is Hannah, who was four weeks old, I captured her big sisters newborn gallery two years ago! It was a pleasure to capture more images of this beautiful family. Here is a peek at her gallery.

I have just packed up Millie’s beautiful prints and USB with all her photos and posted them, they are on the way to her house to be hung on the wall in her home. We all know how quickly babies grow and change, it is wonderful to have captured these images of Millie when she is still so small. Although the days can be long and the nights short when you have a newborn really it is only a short time - all of a sudden they are not babies anymore. The photos on your wall become part of your family story and a treasure for you to keep forever. Contact me here to book your newborn photoshoot today.
Another newborn shoot! I love meeting all these lovely families and creating images for them to treasure forever. The arrival of a baby is such a special time and it is an honour for me to capture these early days of life.

My latest newborn session with Lana Niamh & Thomas - I am sure you will all agree that this little girl is just adorable!
My latest little baby photo shoot - the best thing about being a newborn photographer is witnessing how much love a new baby brings to a home. I love to capture this moment in time so you can treasure it forever.
I love maternity sessions because there is such a sense of anticipation. A new baby brings so many changes and life as you know it will never be the same again. It’s nice to just pause and capture the way things are right now. Pregnancy is an exciting time and it is so easy to forget how you felt during the weeks before your little bundle arrives. This recent maternity photo shoot was taken a few weeks ago, baby has since arrived and we had a newborn shoot shortly afterwards. It is really lovely to document the journey from expectant parents to new mammys and daddys. To book your maternity session contact me here.
This is a recent family session and it was so much fun. These three boys were just the cutest. I find the most beautiful images are captured when everyone is relaxed and at ease in their own home.
Although shy at the start the boys really came out of their shell and we had lots of fun as you will see from the images. It is lovely to capture these moments of the family just being themselves. There is something so special about these little moments and it is lovely to have these images to look back on for years to come. Newborn lifestyle sessions are so lovely. I love meeting these little bundles of joy in their home and capture the natural candid moments between the family.
I had a lovely morning with this little girl we got some wonderful images, I really love the little moments in between the poses too. These are just some of my favourites from her gallery!
Maggie & Peter (aka Harry) decided to surprise their family and arranged to get married the same day as their son’s christening! It was a lovely day, with just immediate family attending the ceremony. The wedding & christening was in Skryne church, we then went and took some photos in Balrath, dinner in Athboy and then back to Fergie’s in Kilmessan to join all their friends and family who were waiting to find out who the newlyweds were. Here is a little glimpse of their wonderful day.

So, you’re considering a newborn session for your baby? You’ll find lots of helpful information below. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions.
When should I book my Session?
Ideally you should confirm a booking as soon as possible after your 20 week scan, to ensure an available appointment. As we all know babies rarely arrive on their due date so don’t worry, I will provisionally book you in approximately one week after your due date. As soon as baby arrives you can contact me to confirm a suitable day/time for the session. Photography is best done when the baby is between 6-12 days old, this
is the best time to capture those beautiful sleepy shots.
My baby has already been born is it too late to book?
No! Although I usually book clients in advance I do have some space available so please don’t hesitate to get in touch even if your baby has already arrived. If your baby is older than 2 weeks it is still possible to capture beautiful photos. They may not be as posed, but we still have lots of options.
Where will the session take place?
The session will take place in the comfort of your own home. My newborn sessions are unique as I capture both documentary images along with some more traditional posed images of your newborn. The baby’s needs then dictate the flow of the session. I don’t need a lot of space, I work with natural light and all I need is a window. Once you have booked your session I will discuss all the details with you like where the best light is in your home etc. I am based in Co. Meath, and I travel to Dublin and other surrounding areas.
How long will the session last?
Newborn sessions can take between 2 and 4 hours. I do not rush the session and I always allow for baby to take as many breaks as needed including feeding changing etc. I want the session to be as relaxing as possible for everyone and the baby’s comfort and safety is my priority.
Do you provide the props and hats etc or do we have to bring them?
Yes, I provide blankets props, hats and some outfits (to see some examples click here). I do like to keep things simple. If you do have something of your own you want included in the session I will be happy to discuss this with you.
If you have anymore questions please feel free to contact me here.
This week Bellinter House and the wonderful Franc hosted a fabulous wedding fair. The guests at Bellinter House were treated to champagne & a tour of the beautiful estate with Franc, who was full of expert advice for all the lovely couples. Bellinter House is a stunning location for a wedding and it is very exciting to hear Franc has lots of new ideas and great plans for the venue which is now under new management. On the day Sorelle were singing in the drawing room and created a lovely atmosphere.
The Sorelle singers specialise in wedding music for church, civil ceremonies and drinks receptions. Their four part harmonies are amazing, their passion and ability could clearly be heard through their singing, guitar & piano playing.
Sorelle sang songs from a wide variety of genres from classical to modern. They sang songs such as; One Day Like This, Dona Nobis, The Book of Love, Mo Ghrá Thú, Your Song, Songbird and many more.
The talented manager Paul at Bellinter House even joined the girls in singing ‘Somewhere Out There’ and he can really hold a note!
Isabelle and Gary recently got married in Kilmessan Church Co. Meath. The lovely couple then went to Killeen Castle for some photos and then continued on to the beautiful Trim Castle Hotel for a wonderful reception.
Ps. check out the wedding cake - the beautiful bride made it herself!
